Witbank writer Edna Cane launches new book
Local writer, Edna Cane Swannepoel, has launched a brand new book, titled Soektog na Liefde 2: Liefde Verraai – The sequel to her previous book, Soektog na Liefde.
Liefde Verraai – which translates in English into ‘Love Betrayed’ is a Christian romance novel that deals with love, problems, joy, family ties, temptations, patience, sin, grace and forgiveness.
According to Edna, the main character in the book, Tracey, has a bad patch with her husband and she ends up having an affair. At the end of the book Eric (her Husband) and Tracey get back together and all is forgiven and forgotten.
“This book has happy moments, sad moments and for those who read the first book it will have an unexpected turn,” says Edna.
My books are based on all day life events that happen to anyone, anywhere in life and most don’t want to talk about it. My books are also Christian novels, which tells us the Lord will forgive, His blessings are made new every morning and that we are totally depended on His grace.
Overseas readers can obtain a copy of the book through Amazon. Everyone else can contact Edna directly at 072 961 5963 or via email edna.swannepoel@gmail.com. The books are priced at R250.
