DAR Mass Spay Day
Drakenstein Animal rescue held their most recent mass spay day on 23 August 2017.
They regularly go into the local townships and look for unsterilised dogs, as well as those who are unwanted or need medical attention.
One of their primary aims is to stop unwanted births amongst dogs and cats as these puppies and kittens often end up living lives of neglect and abuse.
36 dogs were sterilised in their latest initiative.
They would like to extend a huge thank you to those who sponsored the sterilisation of a dog, as well as to the volunteers who offer their time and resources to assist in the cause.
If you would like to become involved or make a donation towards this worthy cause please call Cheryl on 082 579 3005 or visit their Facebook page.
