Mpox cases in SA rises to 25
The Department of Health said the patient, who is from the Western Cape was in a stable condition, recovering at home.
The number of confirmed Mpox cases in the country has risen to 25.
This follows confirmation of another case in the Western Cape at the weekend.

The Health Department said the patient had no recent international travel history or contact with a suspected or confirmed Mpox case.
He is currently at home isolating and is in a stable condition.
Since the outbreak began in May this year, three people have died from the disease.
Health Spokesperson Foster Mohale said contact tracing efforts were underway.
“We urge all the identified and suspected contacts to cooperate with health officials during contact tracing for screening and possible diagnosis to prevent further transmission of this preventable and treatable disease.”
