Young Warrior does community work!
LifeLine has since 2010 conducted an annual Young Warrior programme with 40 grade 9 boys and girls. To date, some 500 of these teens have been through the 6-day programme empowering them with personal and life skills and to become change agents.
Today some are professionals, a doctor, accountants, social workers, business persons, nurses, soldiers and artisans.
A 2016 Young Warrior, Vusi Mokone from Tsolo Secondary School in Bophelong has qualified himself in business studies and a personal trainer in a gymnasium. He is a founder member of the Body Cross TVB fitness club operating from the Bophelong stadium.
On 9th April 2022, a second Fantabulous Boot Camp event was held, with the entry fee of sanitary towels, clothes and toiletries.
The donated proceeds were handed over to the Bophelong Children’s Home. They are applauded for their initiative and service to the community.
