While on the game drives, you will see many wild game such as lions which are most predominant game. You will also see lions, white lions, tigers, wild dogs, crocodiles, zebra, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, red hartebeest, eland, white blesbok, springbok, steenbok, mountain redbuck, common duiker, ostrich, fallow deer, and impala. There is also a lion camp where you can play with the cubs. The Blesbok herd at Moreson Ranch is one of the largest herds in the Free State, with an average of 1500 buck.

As I previously mentioned, hunting can also be done at Moreson Ranch, game such as zebra, eland, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, red hartebeest, white blesbok, springbok, steenbok, mountain redbuck, common duiker, ostrich, fallow deer, impala, lion and crocodile are available.

The Blesbok have horns which had record lengths of 50cm. Game may be hunted on foot or by vehicle with powder rifle’s, long bow, cross bow, and composite bow.

The owners and professional hunters of Moreson Ranch are Awie Marais and Tielman de Villiers.

You can enjoy a meal at the Lion’s Den with the sound of roaring lions, the pub and sports r has a rustic atmosphere and the lion cubs will join you for a game of catch in the evening. You can enjoy grilled steaks at the restaurant as well.

There are different types of chalets available as well as caravan and camping facilities. The caravan and camp site is sheltered by shady tree’s and over looks the beautiful open plains of land where the game roam freely.
