Coachlab@Vaal to host Green Economy Learnership Programme
According to the Department of Environmental Affairs, South Africa views the concept of a green economy as a sustainable development path based on addressing the interdependence between economic growth, social protection and the natural ecosystem.
In short: the South African approach is to ensure that green economy programmes are to be supported by practical and implementable action plans and as such the government recognises the importance of building on existing best processes, programmes, initiatives and indigenous knowledge in key sectors.
One such an initiative is the Green Economy Learnership Programme.
