Condom week 2014 celebrated!!!!!

Condom week was celebrated from 13^th February this year and our Sebokeng Service Centre decided to take to the streets – literally!!!!!

Keke Nkabinde, supervisor at Mamello Wellness centre in Zone 13 Sebokeng, formed two groups of volunteer Lay Counsellors. Each group targeted different areas during this period and went to different places doing various activities.

Community talks took place and awareness presentations on why, when and how to use condoms. Demonstrations also took place for those who were interested or who did not know how!! The importance of protection when engaging in sexual activities was emphasised. Other discussions on STI’s also took place.
