White Water Rafting on the Orange River, Augrabies
The Augrabies Rush white water river rafting experience offered by Liquid 360 Adventures is a challenging half-day raft of an 8km stretch of the Orange River within the Augrabies National Park, to within 300 metres of the magnificent Augrabies Falls – one of the 6 biggest falls in the world and called the Place of the Great Noise by the bushmen tribes of the Northern Cape.
Rapid tackled include grade 2 and 3 rapids with interesting names such as Blind Faith (says a lot!), the Cascades, the Rollercoaster (hang on to your paddles!), Rhino and Klipspringer.
The rafting expedition is led by SATOUR and SARA accredited guides, and all equipment, transport and refreshments are supplied.
