Tsendze Rustic Camp Site, Kruger National Park
Tsendze Rustic Camp Site in the northern section of the Kruger National Park provides one of the most rustic experiences in the park and is the park’s newest addition to its unique accomodation facilities.
Tsendze is a tsonga word meaning ‘to ramble around like someone lost in the bush’. It’s a fitting name for this campsite, which offers visitors an isolated piece of bushveld freedom, surrounded by the park’s beautiful mopane bushveld. The rustic feel comes from the simple amenities and the large sites, spread out under the welcome shade of mopane, leadwood and apple leaf trees.
This Tsendze River flows close by to the campsite, making it a popular area for breeding herds of buffalo and elephant. Birders will also enjoy the abundance of birds within the tall trees of the campsite itself. Bookings and info
