Royal Cape Golf Course is a beautiful parkland located in Wynberg, just a 20 minute drive from the city centre. Founded in 1885 it is the oldest and most exclusive club in South Africa. This championship course has hosted the SA Open and the South African Amateur Championships many times and winners include Gary Player, Ernie Els, Mark McNulty and Trevor Immelman.
The mountain backdrop, ponds and lakes teeming with bird life provide natural beauty and distraction – but the water features can entrap and narrow fairways lined with trees will punish the poor drive from the tees. The wind will also add an extra challenge to your round.
The course is in superb year round condition with well grassed fairways, smooth greens and challenging bunkers.
The Golf Course is reserved for members on Saturdays, closed Good Friday and Christmas Day
