Rosebank, an old established Johannesburg suburb, has always been a classy area, with a mix of business, shops, and entertainment spaces, surrounded by a leafy residential area with stately homes.
Today, many of the original homes have been replaced by an extended modern business hub, which is served by excellent shops, eateries, entertainment and a sophisticated, buzzing nightlife.
Rosebank is also a station on the Gautrain Network; is only 35 minutes from the OR Tambo Airport; and is conveniently close to all the places that really matter in Jozi – Sandton, “The Parks“, well known for their village atmosphere, and the inner-city.
Rosebank is special in its “walkability”. Here you can combine drinks, dinner, a movie and some “clubbing” all in one evening, and each at a different venue, without once having to get into a car to drive between places.

There are three main shopping complexes – The Firs, Rosebank Mall and The Zone@Rosebank, and the smaller Rosebank Mews with its modelling agencies, and Mutual Square.
Rosebank’s Design District has a thriving nightlife with cafes, cocktail bars playing live music and sophisticated, vibey clubs. Most notable are The SET, Capital Cafe, The Bank, Hush and Latinova. Situated at The Firs, Katzy’s, a trendy venue for the famous, is the perfect place for that pre-dinner cocktail or post-dinner cigar.
Rosebank is home to art galleries of an international standard. These including the well-known Goodman, Everard Read and Circa on Jellicoe, as well as a couple of galleries at The Firs.
The African Craft Market is a top tourist attraction, with art and curios from a number of African countries, with more than seventy talented artists under one roof. Enjoy hours of browsing through home décor items, curios and more serious pieces of art.
