Rosebank JohannesburgRosebank, an old established Johannesburg suburb, has always been a classy area, with a mix of business, shops, and entertainment spaces, surrounded by a leafy residential area with stately homes.

Today, many of the original homes have been replaced by an extended modern business hub, which is served by excellent shops, eateries, entertainment and a sophisticated, buzzing nightlife.

Rosebank is also a station on the Gautrain Network; is only 35 minutes from the OR Tambo Airport; and is conveniently close to all the places that really matter in Jozi – Sandton, “The Parks“, well known for their village atmosphere, and the inner-city.

Rosebank is special in its “walkability”. Here you can combine drinks, dinner, a movie and some “clubbing” all in one evening, and each at a different venue, without once having to get into a car to drive between places.

Rosebank is home to art galleries of an international standard. These including the well-known GoodmanEverard Read and Circa on Jellicoe, as well as a couple of galleries at The Firs.

The Rooftop Market at the Rosebank Mall has been voted the top market in Johannesburg for many years. Find the most amazing products for the home, health, curiosities and of course the unbelievable deli section.

Pavement cafés, courtyard dining and restaurants abound. Take time off to enjoy a top class coffee or al fresco gourmet light lunch amid the upmarket buzz. If its a good movie you are after, The Rosebank Mall has a bank of cinema nouveau options.
