Polokwane Art Museum
The Polokwane Art Museum displays over 1000 artworks by Limpopo artists in the Danie Hough Cultural Centre.
Artworks range from contemporary to traditional and classic mixed media to paintings, ceramics and sculptures – including many by some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists who are from Limpopo. This Gallery is well worth a visit not only for the great talent on display, but for the focus on the Limpopo that gives great insight into the culture, history and heart of the Limpopo region and its people.
Getting there: The Danie Hough Cultural Centre is situated in the Polokwane Library Gardens Complex, no. 70 Schoemann Street.
