Parkview Golf Course, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Parkview Golf Club is beautifully laid out in a quiet, well-established suburb of Johannesburg. This 18-hole parklands course is widely admired for the condition of its fairways and greens, a modern and well-appointed clubhouse and a friendly camaraderie among members that is ‘uniquely Parkview’.
Parkview is one of the easier courses in Gauteng, with some short par-fours providing birdie opportunities. A canal runs through the course and often comes into play, so straight hitting is a big plus.
Closed on Mondays, visitors are welcome every day except on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Visit the Parkview Website.
Directions: Travel on the (M1) highway and take exit 14, Jan Smuts Avenue (M27). (From Pretoria turn right over the highway, from Johannesburg turn left). Continue on Jan Smuts Avenue until you turn left on Westcliffe Road (M16), Then turn right into Wicklow Road and just after crossing Emmarentia Road then you will find the entrance to the club on your left.
