Mzimkhulu Wilderness Area, Drakensberg, KwaZulu-NatalMzimkhulu Winderness Area lies in the southernmost part of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park, the world heritage site in KwaZulu-Natal. It is close to the Lesotho border and extends from Sani Pass to Griqualand East.

The Rhino Horn at a little over 3000m is prominent although it can only be accessed from the adjacent Garden Castle Nature Reserve.

On the walk to the base of the mountain you will pass Pillar

Cave, the highlight of the hike. (S29°43.739 E29°10.606) at 2 143 metres.

Although the mountains are not as high, or as spectacular is those in the north, they are still quite imposing because the valleys are lower.
