Mountain Biking in Little Switzerland, Bergville
This little piece of heaven is set in a 2000-ha private reserve. Trails here are rated from difficult to extreme, and range from 10km to 14km in length. The trails are set deep in the mountains and traverse mountain jeep tracks, making the rides quite demanding. Be sure to take in the awesome views of Africa’s oldest mountain range, the Drakensberg, with its indigenous forests, mountain streams, breathtaking gorges and the stunning view of the Drakensberg Amphitheatre.

Getting there: Little Switzerland Resort is situated on the Oliviershoek Pass in the Northern Drakensberg, along the R74 between Harrismith and Bergville.
