Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyards, Franschhoek, Western CapeMont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyards is one of the smaller wine estates in Franschhoek with 16Ha under vine. However, the winery produces a large range of award winning wines – sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, shiraz,cabernet sauvignon, merlot and others. Because of the relatively small volumes the winemaker is able to concentrate on quality. The 150 year old cellar, which started life as a fruit packing shed is able to process 110 tons of grapes in a season.

The hotel provides luxury accommodation at its best with a perfect blend of style and comfort and with beautiful views over the Franschhoek Valley. At the the Mange Tout Restaurant executive chef leigh trout works his magic transforming dishes on the menu into individual works of art. His style of cooking is seated in the classics, especially in the traditional french style, yet with a contemporary approach.

For a more relaxed meal, dine in the Country Kitchen situated in the tasting centre and taste the wines while you eat. Wine tasting is available every day from 10h00 to 19h00. Cellar tours are conducted at 11h00, 12h30 and at 15h00. Small functions may be held in the cellar by special arrangement.
