Modderfontein Golf Course, Edenvale, Gauteng
Modderfontein Golf Course is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Edenvale, East of Johannesburg in Gauteng Province. The club was founded in 1935 and opened by the famous South African golfer, Bobby Locke.
The course is well treed and doglegs are a major challenge on many of the fairways. Seven of the holes have water hazards and many of the greens are surrounded by bunkers and trees.
The club house is well set up for corporate golf days – a large function room overlooks the 18th hole and catering is available.
