Luiperdkrans Private Game Reserve
Luiperdkrans Private Game Reserve near Middelburg on the Mpumalanga Highveld packs plenty of potential and guaranteed sightings into a 500ha area.
Luiperdskrans supports a large variety of birds an animals thanks to its sutuation on the border between the Highveld and Bushveld biomes. There are also two springwater streams flowing through the property, feeding the Loskop Dam 15km away to the north west. With such an abundance of waer, the property is able to support many individuals across a great range of mammal, reptile and bird species.
There are many species of antelope – from large Kudu, Eland and Waterbuck, to smaller species such as Reedbuck and Duiker, as well as Zebra, Giraffe, Warthogs, Bushpigs, Baboons and Monkeys.
Large predators such as Leopard, Hyena, Black-backed Jackals, Rooikat (African Lynx) and smaller predators such as Serval and other wild cats are resident.
Many Highveld and bushveld species have been recorded on the property and also many snake species, including python and Egyptian Cobra.
Accommodation is available in fully equipped luxury chalets.
