One guard is permanently on duty at the dam, and he keeps an eye on mothers and children who come to play at the fenced play park, or walkers who bring their dogs to the dam each day.
There are no braai facilities – everyone does picnics here.
Calderwood Road, Lonehill. How to get there: From Main Road heading North, turn left into Lonehill Blvd, turn left into Concourse Crescent, and then right into Calderwood Road, the park is at the end of the road.
