Learn to surf in Jeffry’s Bay with surf lessons from Jeffrey’s Bay Island Vibe Surf School.
Two hour surf lessons at a gentle break called Kitchen Windows will have you up and standing on a board – and ready for more surf lessons or a visit to the surf shop to buy your first board.
Experienced instructors take you through a programme that starts on the beach, with an introduction to techniques and standing practice on the sand. Then it’s into the water, in a rolling surf break that has just enough power to help you get up – at least once.
If you are serious about learning to surf, consider participating in one of Island Vibes Surf Camps. These take you from beginner lessons at Kitchen Windows and Dolphin Beach (J-Bay’s main beach) on to other surf breaks depending on what’s running. You will also visit board shapers and get to know the locals. Camps run from 1 – 6 weeks in length and include daily surf lessons.
