Karkloof Canopy Tour, Midlands Meander, KwaZulu-Natal
This unique eco-adventure experience takes guests on a 3hr adventure through the magnificent indigenous forest at Karkloof. The cables are suspended 30m above the forest floor, from where a magnificent array of birdlife can be seen, not to mention the spectacular scenery. The tour comprises of seven platforms and eight slides that zig-zag down the pristine forest valley.

Getting there: from Durban, take the N3 going through Pinetown to Howick. Here, turn off at the sign to the Karkloof Nature Reserve and follow the signs to the canopy tour upon arrival.
