Himeville Nature Reserve, Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal
Himeville Nature Reserve is adjacent to the town of Himeville near the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The reserve is 104ha in extent and was proclaimed to its present size in 1973.
The reserve has two trout dams and an evening stroll should reward you with sightings of Blesbuck and Black Wildebeest and many bird species around the dams. Visitors may use their own boats on the dams. The nearby and much larger Cobham Nature Reserve is worth a visit.
