Hermanus Golf Course, Cape Overberg, Western Cape

Hermanus Golf CourseHermanus Golf Course, located only 120 Km from Cape Town, is a perfect golfing venue for Capetonians and visitors wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of a large city.

Hermanus, on the Southern Cape coast is a beautiful seaside town best known for its incredible whale watching. With its magnificent scenic beauty, sophisticated ambience, modern infrastructure and shopping combined with many adventure options it’s no wonder that Hermanus has grown in size and popularity.

In 2007 the course was modernised and enlarged from 18 to 27 holes opening up challenges for more advanced golfers playing off the back tees while the introduction of different tees made it possible for all levels of golfers to participate in competitions. A challenging flow was created by shaping the fairways and adding grassy mounds, bunkers, trees, and rocky water hazards.

Directions: From Cape Town take the N2 towards Somerset West. Continue over Sir Lowry’s Pass and follow the signs to Hermanus. From the Garden Route follow the N2 through Riviersonderend. After 10Km turn left to Stanford. Follow the road for 55 Km to Stanford. At Stanford follow the signs to Hermanus.
