Fusion Art at the Artefunto Art Gallery, Clarens
And now… for something a little different… Fusion Art by Artefunto.
Artefunto displays a “1000 year old traditional of manipulating bamboo” to create canvasses. Artists Werner and co then use inlays of eggshell, mother-of-pearl and a variety of other materials from coins to stone and paper to create their designs.
The Fusion Art offered is as much meticulous and inspired craftwork as art. Artworks are eclectic, contemporary, African, Eastern, traditional and exotic. The fusion art created by Artefunto is available in tiles and plates as well as the large and dramatic bamboo canvas pannelled creations.
Getting there: The Artefunto Gallery is situated just outside of Clarens central at the Willows Lifestyle Centre.
