Croc City Crocodile Farm, Johannesburg
Croc City in Fourways, northern Johannesburg comprises a crocodile breeding farm with over 800 crocodiles, crocodile exhibits, a crocodile hatchery (where you can hold a hatchling), visit the shop selling crocodile meat, crocodile skin products and other croc souvenirs – including crocodile oil lotion!
Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park is fast becoming one of the most exciting attractions in South Africa, where visitors can zip-line above a crocodile enclosure, take part in thrilling activities such as holding a baby crocodile, touching exotic snakes and getting up close and personal with a tarantula!
In addition to all things croc, there is a boma with daily Zulu drum and dance shows – offering an authentic experience of the not-quite-lost tribal heritage of this part of South Africa.
An attraction with a big bite, a big beat…and a requisite tea garden for refreshments.

Getting there: Croc City is situated north of Johannesburg City between Fourways Mall and Lanseria. Take Malibongwe Drive off the N1, toward Lanseria Airport, turning left on to the R114 just after the Lion Park.
