Once you have been lured in, the love and attention lavished on to this establishment by the owners, is inescapable. 30 years of expert retailing make a visit a unique experience.
From freshly baked pies, cakes, melktert, syrupy koeksisters to dried fruit of all types, fresh produce like mielies, peaches, nectarines …
and that’s before you consider the range of wines, jams, pickles and preserves!
It is no wonder that trade was brisk. It is very easy to spend an hour or more absorbed in the range on the shelves.
Stock up here for padkos or if you a feeing hungry, have a meal at the Soete Inval Restaurant. The freshest ingredients from the Robertson Valley are served in a range of hearty, tasty meals. Sunday lunch is often accompanied by live music.
