Adrenalin 4×4 Trails at Didibeng Mountain Park, Free State

Adrenaline 4x4 trails in South Africa - Grade 4 The Didibeng Mountain Park just outside of Fouriesburg in the Eastern Free State offers several 4×4 trails ranging from moderately easy to difficult. The main circular trail route is a Grade 2, but there are trails branching off these graded Grade 3 (dangerous) and Grade 4 (very dangerous). The latter includes the Ventersberg Trail which goes to the top of the Ventersberg Mountain.

The reward for risking life and limb? Incredible panoramic views over the Free State and the Maluti Mountains from a number of viewpoints up to 2270m above sea level.

The Didibeng Mountain Park is situated in the Rooiberg Mountain Range 5km from Fouriesburg, and next door to the Meiringsloof Farm. Sign in for the trails is at Meiringskloof, which also offers camping and self catering accommodation, hikes, abseiling, horse riding and lying by the pool – activities your family can get on with while you head off to test your 4×4 skills and prove that you have nerves of steel.
