1.ASSEGAAIBOSCH NATURE RESERVE

Assegaaibosch is a lovely nature reserve situated in the Jonkershoek Valley and it is a beautiful place to go and unwind. The braai area is located in the forest; surrounded by big and gorgeous trees. It’s a serene spot to set up a braai and relax with a group of friends and family. 2. BERGPLAAS RESORT

Take a 20-minute drive out of Stellenbosch towards the Idas Valley and it is here that you’ll find Bergplaas Resort. The stunning view of the mountain and greenery surrounding the resort makes for a lovely backdrop when you’re busy braaing! 3. Helderberg Farm

Spend a lovely afternoon at the Helderberg Farm, which is situated at the foothill of the mountains. Venture into the Granny’s Forest, where you’ll find awesome braai facilities; up to 8 people are allowed at each station. There is also an amphitheatre where the kids can play or watch a performance. 5. MIDDELVLEI WINE ESTATE
