Ibhongo earns second place in their sector with 85.5%
Life after matric is different, everything is now up to the learners and the decisions they make which will have a great impact on them.
Ibhongo High School class of 2023 increased their matric results from 76% to 85.5% placing themselves in second place in their sector.
The 12% great increase was reached through team work and dedication by the teachers, SGB, parents and the commitment of the learners.
“This means a lot to us because it promotes our school in terms of education. We know that parents will now want to enrol their kids looking at the quality education we provide and produce,” says SGB Deputy Chairperson, Charles Mashaba.
For each and very triumphal results there is a sacrifice done by the school and the learners.
Ibhongo High set eyes on the price from the beginning of the year by providing morning as well as afternoon classes along with Saturday lessons (SIIP).
L.O teacher, Busiswe Msimang said, “Our motto is all about striving for excellence and we are still striving even today.
“We are even advocating to other learners that it is doable; it is possible if all learners are willing to put in the work.”
