MEDO Entrepreneur Week celebrations
On Friday 16 November, MEDO held an entrepreneur week at their walk-in centre in Johannesburg downtown. This opportunity gave entrepreneurs who are benefiting from the MEDO programme a chance to network and showcase their products and services.
Regenesys Business School representatives gave a presentation on the various free programmes offered by the institute and they encouraged everyone to register with the institute.
1. Mazwi Hadebe of Soweto apparel in Snake Park designs T-shirts and earrings and he says his designs tell township stories.
2. Sifiso Halama of Iintsizwa in Johannesburg, designs T-shirts, using earth colours and focuses on cultural identity.
3. Moikanyeng Moloro of Hammanskraal, manufactures classy durable plastic-ware that are mostly appeal to kids.
4. Tshepo Makwane of Afrolegends in Rockville, custom designs leather products.
5. Isaac and Pat Nkosi of Vukani Sekusile in Pritchard Street, have their own perfume and lotion range, inspired by Armani.
6. Fana Khumalo of African Cooperative Desk, in Meadowlands, offers business training, registrations and cooperative development.
7. Vuyo Gumede of Sphile Holdings, in Thulisa Park, manufactures Cheetah Maga Bite energy drink, which she says its much healthier and cost effective.
