Morwesi is the first Female Gospel artist nominated at this year’s SABC Crown Gospel Awards

Her nomination comes at the right time. She is busy in the studio finishing her upcoming project. Morwesi is nominated for Classic of all times judged category with the song, Modimo Ona.

“I still do not believe that I am nominated. I was alone in my room when the news came. I didn’t know if I should scream, cry or shout.”  Explains excited Morwesi.

This is a heartfelt moment for Morwesi who is currently working on her upcoming release.

Morwesi is the first ever-female artist from Free State to receive a Crown nomination. She believes a door has been open for many Free State female Gospel artists. Her journey in the music industry has not been easy. Through prayer and strong belief in the word of God, she manages to overcome everything.

Morwesi is hoping to be accompanied by at least 3 busses, full of her fans. Plans are underway to make this a successful journey.

Morwesi’s dream is to travel the nation through her music and spread the message of hope.

She will be dressed by Urban Zulu Wear and is ready to strut the red carpet at the 10th edition of SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards to be held on the 26^th of November in Durban ICC Live on SABC 1 at  8pm.
