Bloemhof is a very small town in the Southern District of the North West Province, very near the Free State border. Primary attractions are the Bloemhof Dam on the Vaal River, surrounded by the Bloemhof Nature Reserve (on the North West side of the Vaal) and the Sandveld Nature Reserve (on the Free State side).
