Rosetta

Rosetta is a small village situated midway between Mooi River and Nottingham Road in the Natal Midlands. The village grew out of the Rosetta Farm which was granted by the crown in 1861. Today it serves the surrounding farms and small holdings with a small shopping centre.

It is close to the Drakensberg Mountains and the Kamberg Nature Reserve and if you’re looking for a secluded base set in beautiful surroundings in the Midlands, Rosetta might be just the place for you. The Kamberg Valley is a trout fishing paradise and is also a favourite amongst bird watchers and you will never be far away from waterfalls, rivers, mountains and rolling hills which come alive with wild flowers in spring.
