Uvongo

Uvongo is a small resort village just north of Margate and south of Shelly Beach on the Hibiscus Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. The Ivungu River waterfall cascading over the cliff has created one of the deepest lagoons in the country and the towering cliffs shelter the beach. The protected beach makes for perfect bathing and the lagoon is great for boating and fishing. There is a footpath running alongside the river which will take you to the Uvongo Nature Reserve.
