Moloko Pretoria takes On Hatfield Crime
Students and the public have sent outcries about the effects crime has had on nightlife in Hatfield. Details of incidents shared on social media, continue to scare the public; and have been described as shady and dangerous.

who is to blame for the increase in crime and negative reviews on the area and business in the area? According to these students, it is the business who supply liquor and a so-called good time or party experience. Based on articles, back and forth battles off and on social media, Moloko has proceeded to act on the negative targets by addressing issues around student safety, human trafficking and drugs. Currently, the nightlife head expressed the effects of labelling and naming when the main issues reside in unaddressed criminal activities, communication with officers, and

solution? Moloko is currently attempting to work with other businesses and officials to lower crime rate and increase employment rate in Hatfield. They plan to do this through a campaign to be launched at the end of SA Human Trafficking week.
