Mixing Business with Pleasure
Hirsch’s Centurion recently hosted their monthly Business Networking where likeminded business men and women come together to promote their business as well as listen to our informative guest speaker.
Jeremy Stafford, a voice analyst, gave a presentation with vital tips on how to spot various nuances in people’s voices, and how to act on them. Jeremy has worked for many years in Human Resource Management in the government (SAPS), private and NGO sectors. He gained extensive experience in Recruitment and Selection and psychometric testing during these years. It was during this period that he identified a shortfall in pre-employment screening and psychometrics … that are now filled by Voice Stress testing.
After the presentation, everyone got a chance to introduce themselves to the crowd as well as what their company has to offer. The networking event was closed with a few lucky draws, but guests stayed on to get to know each other over a cappuccino or two. Yet again this networking proved that human interaction is the best form of marketing.
