CapCity Review of Events and Artists
#CapCityReview for young entrepreneurs and start-ups in Pretoria is slowly becoming a business language; as it exposes various industries and businesses functioning within that area.
Whether bad or good, the show aims to give a clear review from a direct point of view. This means attending various occasional events being held in Tshwane.
Last week the crew was happy to be part of Moloko Clubs rebranding strategic meeting and nightlife. On the onset, one wonders what lies beyond the vintage gate and soundproof doors; to our surprise, were welcomed on the red carpet(VIP style oouu) and upon entering classes of complimentary drink(also for general patrons of the venue). To our added surprise when asking what the drink contained? a simple Vodka Cranberry..what kind of Vodka? Belvedere! You would think to be in general you would be served a low-cost drink, right? but no, they live up to their testimony as being “A Luxury Club, consistently giving of the finest experiences and celebrations”.
The night aimed to promote an album launch of a prominent artist, which they delivered, and the artist, as well as lip-singing supporters gladly embraced this theme. On a final not one can say that the slow serves in VIP was coped by the quick and easy services in general. Happy youth patrons commented by saying “there is a noticeable change, like the establishment is trying to make, regarding the crowd, the themes, the types of brands they associating with and the constantly changing decor, it is still a little bit cramped but who doesn’t want to be closer to friends?”
final thoughts: managing and entertaining can never be an easy task, as there are lots to manage, getting a good team and planning for anything goes a long way, the assumption of making a profit is never there when its a name at stake.
