Komga

Komga is a small scenic village set among the rolling grasslands some 65 kms to the East of King William’s Town and 60km north of East London. This small friendly village is the centre for a cattle farming centre.

Komga’s 19th century St Paul’s Church has been declared a national monument. The church was opened on June 13, 1866. The original church consisted of the present nave only, and the chancel was added in 1880.

The district around Komga is bliss for eco-tourists, and for bird lovers as the district boasts a large range of bird species.

The Khaya La Bantu Xhosa Cultural Village offers an intoxicating mix of traditional music, dance, food, and drink that will fill your senses with a true Xhosa experience and leave your mind filled with rich memories.
