Total of 400 parkrunners take on Secunda parkrun #388

A hot summer’s morning saw 400 parkrunners walk, jog or run the Secunda Parkrun on January 13.

Taking on a healthier and fitter lifestyle, 400 parkrunners walked, ran or jogged the 5km Secunda parkrun number 388, on January 13.

Leopold Middelburg (83) completed his 100th parkrun, while Willie-Uys Janse van Rensburg and Ansie van Schalkwyk wer joined the Red Milestone Club 50.

First-timers Ryno Jonker, Mthokozisi Sibanyoni, Jesse de Wet, Frederick Roulstone, Raydon van Loggerenberg, Andrew Uzande, Stephan Pieterse, Lanè Coetzer, Asanda Xabanga, Nomfundo Kunene, Barend Greyvensteyn, Rethabile Fakundze, Geneve Pieterse, Steve de Wet, Fanie Weber, Kaylee Kesztler, Lizette Kesztler, Nokukhanya Vuyelwa Mathebula, Liané Roulstone, Matthew de Meyer, Marlene van der Merwe, Titia Jordaan, Ryley de Meyer, Thabang Sehlare, Nompumelelo Dlamini, Karabo Netshiomvani, Thobile Ndlovu, Willem van Rooyen, Chloe Loukidis, Logan Loukidis, Natasha van Dyk, Ciara van Rooyen, Delize van Rooyen, Thabitha Buthelezi, Lesedi Ramakhala and Christien Brink were welcomed to the parkrun Secunda family.
