OBAMA SAYS TRUMP WILL NOT BE PRESIDENT
The divisive and controversial Donald Trump, one of the strongest Republican candidates for the American president, has been in the news often with many moments of less-than-presidential behaviour. The cussing, flamboyant billionaire seems undaunted by criticism and keeps up his flashing ways.
Trump advocates a wall between Mexico and the US to keep out unwanted immigrants, deport 11 million undocumented immigrants and said Muslims should be stopped from entering the US.
Pres. Obama said yesterday that Trump will not be president, as the job is too serious and requires taking unpopular decisions. Obama further said that he has too confidence in the American voters to see Trump win.
This come amidst increasing bizarre levels of debating in the run-up to the November elections.
Commentators have called the levels of discourse and personal attacks to be likened to primary school classrooms. Cruz used the phrase: ‘…liar, liar pants on fire’, Hillary Clinton barked like a puppy and Trump called Cruz the biggest liar he has ever come across.
The American electorate has indicated their frustration with current politicians, but surely they can see that they deserve more than this level of rhetoric!
