Piekfijn Food and Wine Festival #4 goes big!
On 9 September 2017, Rustenburg enjoyed the 4th Piekfijn Food and Wine Festival, bigger and better than before…
The day started off on an active note with the Celtis Music Run, followed by Rugby and Netball by Netball Kidz and R Skills Development.
The Food Lovers Market Potjiekos competition provided healthy competition on the food side of things, whereas the wine- tasting and auction satisfied the wine connoisseurs.
Various celebrities joined in the fun as some of the ‘Getroud met Rugby’ actors, Fiesta, Janina Oberholzer and Jo Black were present on the day. Live entertainment throughout the day by various performers ensured that a festive atmosphere existed to get everyone in the party spirit for the Weiveld Afterparty with DJ Wesley.
