Cellar Rats Spring Wine Festival – toast to success
The Cellar Rats of Magaliesburg brought the Spring Wine Festival to our doorsteps once again!
More than 100 wine producers as well as 600 wines were there to let you taste and enjoy what South Africa has to offer.
As usual this outdoor family festival made sure to have all the guests entertained. Music was brought to the festival goers by Dusty Moon and people could be seen tapping their feet!
As usual the wine festival was held to support the Woodland School in Magaliesberg. This chool is a non-subsidised, non-profit rural school that is run by the community since 1999.
The school has 3 fundraiser each year, under which the Wine Festivals count. From 2012 the plans for a computer centre has been implemented. The school is also using the funds to upgrade the walls and roof of the school.
Heinrich Venter was there to capture a few of the moments.
