The Carnivore Restaurant in Muldersdrift, is the place for a meat lover. From the minute you enter this vibrant African styled eating spot and see the focal circular open fire brandishing a minimum of thirteen cuts of meat on fifty two Masaai spears, you know you are in for a feast.
Sit down at your table and get ready. Starters are the homemade soup of the day and fresh, daily baked honey bread. No sooner have you polished this off when the accompaniments start rolling in – six assorted salads, six sauces for the meat, potjieskos pots containing “pap and sauce” and even baked potatoes.
This is the signal for the carvers to come from the fire bringing their spears with all the different meat choices – pork, lamb, beef, chicken, ribs and sausages and including such game meats as crocodile, zebra, giraffe, impala, ostrich – which are carved straight onto your plate.
The carvers keep returning until your table lowers its flag in defeat or maybe elation for those with a sweet tooth – choose from five different desserts, and coffee.
The Carnivore has recently launched 9 new conference venues. Delegates can now enjoy the Carnivore menu – buffet style. This truly African concept is guaranteed to excite even the most seasoned conference goers.
