TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All rates quoted in South African rand and are per room per night.
2. Should the prevailing rate change or another tax levy be introduced during the duration of the contract, Castello di Monte reserves the right to amend the quoted rates accordingly, without prior notification.
3. Check in time is from 14:00 and rooms should be vacated by 11:00 on date of departure.
4. Early arrivals, late departures and day use rooms should be confirmed prior to check-in, subject to availability and may carry a surcharge. The rate will be negotiated on the day.
5. Castello di Monte does not accept children under the age of 8 unless exclusive use of the entire Villa is booked. All children will stay in their own room. 3rd adult sharing a room is not allowed.
6. In order to guarantee the reservation, one of the following must be provided.

   (a) Details of one of the following recognized credit cards:  American Express, Diners, Master or Visa.

   (b) Deposit as follows: a 50% of total stay must be paid within seven (7) days after the booking has been made.

   (c) The travel agent voucher or company order faxed and original presented upon arrival. Should the deposit not be received as requested, Castello Di Monte reserves the right to automatically cancel the booking without any written or verbal notice. The hotel has the right to cancel non-guaranteed reservations at 16:00 on the day of arrival if a travel agent voucher / company order / credit card authorization / pre-payment has not been received.

7. A no-show fee of one night’s accommodation and a dinner fee per person (if indicated as required) will be charged for no shows / guaranteed reservations. Less than 7 days forfeit the full accommodation account. From 7 to 14 days forfeit 50% of the full accommodation account.
8. Cheques are not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
9. Dinner available. Kindly advise any dietary requirements.
