Wimpy SA: How we’re dealing with Covid-19 to keep you safe

Wimpy is a family restaurant and we work hard to make sure that you, our valued customers, young and old, enjoy every moment with us. At Wimpy, our greatest priority has always been the health and safety of our team members and you, our valued customer.
In challenging times like these, with the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we would like to reassure you that while we continue to implement strict health, hygiene, and safety standards in our restaurants, we are taking additional stringent precautions and heightening these procedures in all our restaurants nationwide.
Some of the additional items include:
- More frequent hand washing and sanitising by staff
- More frequent sanitizing of tables, condiments, menu’s and point of sale machines
- More regular deep cleaning of bathrooms
We are continuing to trade and are consistently monitoring the situation; following the guidance of both local and global authorities.
Although the virus is not transmitted through food, we are working hard to put the hygiene and safety of our staff and customers first and we ask you to do the same, as we fight this together!
