What are the Pretoria Zoo entrance fees?
The Zoo is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Tickets are sold from 09:00 to 16:30 daily and the Zoo closes at 17:30. Ticket can be purchased at the gate or online on the National Zoo’s Website.
Entrance Fees:
- R 100 – Adults (a person 18 years of age or older)
- R 70 – Children (2 – 17 years of age)
- Free – Children (under 2 years of age)
- R 70 – Students (a person with a valid student card)
- R 100 – Pensioners (Free entrance on pensioners days)
Parking: Ample, secure parking is available opposite and at the main entrance of the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa and on the corner of Paul Kruger and Boom Streets. Security staff are on duty at all parking facilities for your peace of mind. Parking fees are R30 per vehicle.
Golf Carts:
Deposit: R200.00
Rental of Golf Carts (4 Seater) R150.00 an hour.
Rental of Golf Carts (6 Seater) R180.00 an hour.
The golf carts are operated by a contracted concessionaire. There are a limited number of golf carts available and are allocated on a first come first-served basis.
No pre-bookings can be made.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Children’s push carts:
Children’s pushcarts are available for rent at a cost of R120 for a single-seater for the day and R140 for a double-seater for the day
