Matlapeng Bush Camp
Matlapeng Adventure Camp with its unique Ndebele character is situated on a remote farm in the Wilge Valley on the banks of the Zaalklipriver, 35 km north-east of Bronkhorstspruit. Access via the N4 with 18 km of dirt road into the valley It was established as a venue for groups with a need for a secluded out of the ordinary bush experience for purposes of bosberaad, lekgotla, team development, special getaway purposes and social celebrations, adventure, hiking, eco-tourism or merely laid back ‘’time out “ purposes. Matlapeng has been in existence since 1998.
Visitors to Matlapeng bush camp get the exclusive use of the camp and nature area infrastructure. A fully equipped kitchen consisting of gas, paraffin, fridge facilities, cleaning personnel, crockery, cutlery, three legged post, braai grids, etc is available for the use by visitors and Large lapa area with boma, fireplace, splash pool, hiking trail ect.
Backpacker style houses can accommodate 46 guests.
7 x 2 sleeper (consisting of 2 single beds, 4 of the units have toilet and cold showers).
2 x 4 sleeper (consisting of 2 single beds & 1 bunker bed).
4 x 6 sleeper (consisting of 2 single beds & 2 bunker beds, 4 units have their own bathroom with toilet and basin).
Ablution blocks available with hot showers 2 times a day and toilets.
Camping:
3x Tent Camping stands available with electricity &
3x Caravan camping stands with electricity.

Opsitkers is situated in the valley a little further from the camp with the most breathtaking views over the farm and the sound of the river just beneath. It’s a 2 sleeper (consisting of a double bed, bath, toilet and gas geyser).
Kamp lekkerkry is a fully bush experience camp site next to the river.
Enjoy the sound of the river and mother nature.
Tents and 4×4 caravans welcome. (no need for a 4×4 vehicle only high clearance).
2x bathrooms with showers and toilets. (Wood donkie for warm water)
No kitchen facilities!!!
