Vehicles donated, temporary health facility unveiled

A local car manufacturer donated vehicles to the Tshwane metro for planned patient transport and emergency responses.
The vehicles were donated to a temporary health facility in the north of Pretoria and unveiled on Tuesday, by the Gauteng acting health MEC.
The Covid-19 testing and screening facility comprises of an administration area, three examination rooms, a nurses’ station, an isolation room, a storeroom and three ablution facilities.
The vehicles will, however, be used even beyond Covid-19, said a spokesperson for the health MEC Kwara Kekana.
