Unisa launches the Thabo Mbeki African School
Pretoria was set to become the new home for Unisa’s Thabo Mbeki African School of Public and International Affairs that was launched on Tuesday afternoon.
Unisa, in partnership with the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, virtually launched the new division to be built in Pretoria, Irene Park.
Former president Thabo Mbeki attended the launch.
Speaking at the launch on the role of scholars and leadership in rebuilding the African content, Mbeki stressed the school must produce critical thinking and creative graduates who will question everything and would change the living conditions of Africans.
