SuperSport eyeing another Pretoria superstar
The Hammanskraal winger has featured less than four times for his team last season and is one of the few players set to leave the Pretoria club.
With George Lebese out of SuperSport United’s radar, the club has their sight firmly on another Pretoria-born player.
United’s latest potential signing is none other than Aubrey Ngoma, who is currently contracted with Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Hammanskraal winger featured less than four times for his team last season and is one of a few players set to leave the Pretoria club.
United boss Stanley Matthews has reportedly said that he was interested in Ngoma and his teammate Lucky Mohomi.
Early this month, Matthews opted not to sign Lebese, who was on loan with Matsatsantsa.
Ngoma signed with Sundowns at the end of 2017, after an illustrious career with Cape Town City.
During his days with the Citizens, the left-footed winger was instrumental in the 2016/17 season where he helped the Cape Town-based outfit win the Telkom Knockout. He was even named the midfielder of the season during the PSL awards in 2017.
